Two ways to buy.
Subscribe monthly for the bid tool starter, or pay once for a full implementation. No per-employee surprises in year two either way.
Subscription · self-serve
Bid tool, monthly
Lowest-friction way in. Self-serve. No setup call. $99/month for unlimited grading bids. You bring your own AI API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini), so inference cost stays on your bill, not ours. Cancel anytime.

What the implementation actually buys
A configured platform
The bid tool (and ERP, where included) set up for your trades, your branded outputs, and your unit-cost structure. Not a generic install.
A trained team
Live sessions with your estimating and office staff. Not a video library. We watch you run a real bid and fix the friction we find.
Post-launch support
30 / 60 / 90 days of direct access while your team gets fluent. Bugs, edge cases, “how do I do X”. All included.
Pricing FAQ
- What's the difference between $99/mo and the $5,000 Starter implementation?
- The $99/mo subscription is the bid tool starter. Self-serve, generic regional unit costs, no setup call. You bring your own AI API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini), run unlimited bids, and pay AI inference cost directly to the model providers. The $5,000 Starter implementation is the same bid tool but configured to YOUR shop. We provision the AI access for you, calibrate unit costs from your historical bids, set up branded PDF templates, run a training session, and give you 30 days of direct support. Most contractors who run more than a handful of bids a month go straight to implementation.
- Why do I need my own API keys on the $99/mo plan?
- Each bid runs through several AI models, and that inference costs real money — typically $1–$5 per bid depending on plan complexity. On the subscription tier we don't markup or pass through that cost. You connect your own OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini API keys, run as many bids as you want, and the model providers bill you directly. Implementation tiers include AI provisioning as part of the engagement.
- Can I start on the subscription and upgrade to implementation later?
- Yes. Anything you do on the subscription carries over. The implementation engagement just adds the configuration, calibration, and training on top.
- Why is the rest of the lineup not subscription-based?
- Because everything beyond the basic bid tool requires real implementation work. Calibrating unit costs from your historical bids, hooking up QuickBooks (when it ships), configuring ERP modules to your trades and crew structure. That work is one-time, not recurring. Charging a perpetual monthly fee for it would be subscription-shaped pricing for a services-shaped engagement.
- What does the implementation fee cover?
- Configuring the bid tool (and ERP, where included) for your business: trade scope, branded bid PDF templates, unit-cost setup, calibration from your historical bids where available, and team training. Plus a post-launch support window (30 / 60 / 90 days depending on tier) for the inevitable questions that come up in the first weeks.
- Are bid tool and ERP separate purchases?
- Yes. The Starter implementation tier is bid-tool-only. Pro and Scale bundle the ERP. If you only need the bid tool today and want to add ERP later, that's a separate engagement.
- What happens after the implementation support window?
- You keep using the platform. Need new features, additional trades, or a custom integration? Scope it as a separate engagement.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes. One free bid per email at /try. No credit card required. Run a real grading plan through it before you commit to anything.
- Do you offer contractor association discounts?
- Yes. 15% off implementation fees for AGC and ABC members.
